Safe Driving Microlearning

Scenario-Based Safety Training for Field Employees

Safe Driving Microlearning

The Challenge

Driving is one of the most common risks for field employees. Traditional safety courses often rely on rules and checklists, but they rarely reflect the complex decisions drivers must make in real situations.
The challenge was to design a learning experience that helps employees think critically about driving safety rather than simply memorizing guidelines.

The Approach

The course was designed as a microlearning experience composed of short scenario-based modules. Each scenario places learners in realistic driving situations where the correct decision is not always obvious.
Instead of presenting clear right-or-wrong answers, many interactions introduce gray areas that encourage learners to evaluate risks, consider consequences, and reflect on safe driving behaviors.
This approach promotes deeper engagement and helps learners develop practical judgment for real-world driving situations.
